Sergio Ramos, the Real Madrid captain, spoke at an event in Madrid to present his Amazon Prime Video documentary 'The heart of Sergio Ramos'.

"That's the motive to work and enjoy this sport. I don't want to stop when I'm feeling physically and mentally good. Later I can enjoy other things."

Asked about his he regretted anything in his career, Ramos replied: "Whether you regret or not, there are things you can't change. You learn most from errors and the things that we regret are life lessons. Everything bad has something positive in it.

"Sometimes I'm almost happy to make a mistake because it makes me learn something new."

Ramos spoke about watching from the box, being filmed for the doc, as Madrid were knocked out of the Champions League by Ajax last season.

"You have obligations when you sign something like this," said Ramos. "It was one of the worst moments. A painful day. Nobody expected to be eliminated. They stopped filming because it was a very bad moment. Not everything is perfect. It doesn't always go well."
