Valladolid's Brazilian president wants his compatriot at his club

Ronaldo Luis Nazário is pushing hard to secure the loan signing of Vinicius Junior at Real Valladolid. The former Brazil international is now the president of Valladolid and hopes to use his links with Real Madrid to sign his compatriot this summer.

Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was a teammate of Ronaldo's at the Bernabeu. The French coach cannot guarantee Vinicius that he will have the same role next season that he's had this season.

Los Blancos hope to strengthen in attack in the summer and look set to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea for starters. Karim Benzema's impressive season means he also has his place in attack guaranteed, which makes things tough for Vinicius, who would be the star at Valladolid.

It's not the first time Ronaldo's moved for Vinicius -- who has been left out of Brazil's Copa America squad -- on loan. In fact, he was even the man who helped him when he first arrived in the Spanish capital and has a certain amount of power over the player.

Vinicius is currently in Japan taking part in various sponsorship events. He is due back in Madrid on July 7 when preseason begins.
