Roberto Carlos wants PSG star Neymar to sign for Real Madrid
The Madrid legend wants his fellow Brazilian to move to the Bernabeu
Roberto Carlos says that if it was up to him Neymar would have signed for Real Madrid a long time ago, as well as expressing his desire for Ronaldinho to be released from prison in Paraguay.
"If it depended on me, Neymar would have been here (in Madrid) a while ago," the ex-Los Blancos defender told Foz. "But life isn't always as you want it to be."
The 2002 World Cup winner added: "These great players always have to play for the best clubs in the world. Real Madrid is a reference for any player. Do you want to win the Champions League? Come to Real Madrid.
"(Now) he is happy in Paris and, hopefully, he keeps playing with a smile on his face, as he has done recently because he's been the Neymar everyone wants to see."
On Ronaldinho, who has been in prison since trying to enter Paraguay with fraudulent documents earlier this month, he added: "We will see what happens. I don't think he's participating in anything illegal.
"He was always very correct ... I don't know if they are holding him to find other people."
