Vinicius and Jovic were the match winners in San Sebastian on Saturday
Real Madrid opened up an eight point lead at the top of LaLiga by beating Real Sociedad 2-0 at Anoeta on Saturday.
Vinicius Jr. and Luka Jovic scored the goals as Madrid extended their lead at the summit following Atletico Madrid's surprise defeat to Mallorca earlier in the day.
Sevilla, who beat Villarreal, are not Madrid's closest challengers. They also have a game in hand.
Real Sociedad, meanwhile, slip out of the top four after suffering back-to-back defeats in the league for the first time this season.
Madrid won Saturday's game in San Sebastian at the start of the second half after losing Karim Benzema to injury early on.
In the Frenchman's absence, Jovic stepped up to the plate, taking part in a fine one-two with Vinicius before the Brazilian opened the scoring.
Jovic then added the second himself as Madrid made it eight wins in a row.
