Real Madrid's Zinedine Zidane, a national debate

Real Madrid's start to the season has proven controversial. Some are justifying their weak start and others are ruling out them winning anything. This Madrid win matches by the bare minimum and make their own fans suffer, but nobody doubts Zinedine Zidane's leadership and the players's respect for him. Another thing are his decisions, dividing Madridismo.

In his fifth year in charge of Madrid, nobody is sure what his key tactics are. He is one of the coaches who fits his tactic to the players he has, demanding discipline without the ball. Zidane asked for time, saying "we're in preseason," but he's got basically the same team he had back in 2016.

He loves some players - Benzema, Lucas Vazquez and Marcelo - while others are dead to him - Llorente, Ceballos, Achraf, James, Reguilon, something else fans don't agree on.

Madrid are still missing Cristiano Ronaldo and are not able to solve that problem. Many attribute that to the poor performance of star players - Eden Hazard, Isco, etc, but also it's because the team is not set up to attack.
