The French coach didn't want to talk about issued unrelated to his club

Zinedine Zidane avoided speaking about Antoine Griezmann and Lionel Messi in Friday's press conference and asked for the focus to remain on Real Madrid. 

The Madrid coach was asked about Griezmann's comments with France, in which the Barcelona forward said France boss Didier Deschamps gets the best out of him because he knows where to play him on the pitch. 

"I'm sorry, on things to do with other clubs I won't get involved, I'm not going to speak," Zidane said. "I only have my club, my players and the games coming up in my head. I won't answer. The most important thing is tomorrow's game (against Cadiz)." 

The other question was about Messi and Real Madrid's unsuccessful move to sign him in 2013 and pair him with Cristiano Ronaldo.

At that time, Zidane as the sporting advisor to the president, Florentino Perez, who was prepared to spend Messi' 250 million euros release clause if the Argentine agreed to the move. 

"I don't know anything about that subject," Zidane said. "I won't talk about a player that's not ours. We know all about Messi, the player he is, but he's not my player."
