Real Madrid's Fede Valverde only gets one-game ban for Supercopa hack

The midfielder flew in on Morata to deny Atletico the chance to win the game

Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde has been handed a one-game ban for hauling down Alvaro Morata in the final stages of Sunday's Spanish Supercopa win against Atletico Madrid. 

Morata was clean through in the 118th minute of the game when Valverde made the decision to hack him down and prevent him from scoring what would have been the winner. 

The game ended goalless and Madrid won on penalties in Saudi Arabia. 

Valverde was named man of the match afterwards and has now learned his punishment for the crime. just a one-game ban.
