Ancelotti's side have travelled to Scotland with various reserve players

Real Madrid are set to play a pre-season friendly against Rangers on Sunday evening. Carlo Ancelotti's outfit continue their preparations with an away fixture against Steven Gerrard's side, who won the Scottish first division last season. The game is due to kick off at 7 p.m.

The Italian coach has needed to call up several reserve team players for the match day squad, which is comprised by only 16 outfield players and 3 goalkeepers.

Karim Benzema, who was poised to re-join the group this week, has tested positive for coronavirus and is currently self-isolating.

New signing David Alaba is also absent from the squad. Gareth Bale, meanwhile, who joined the group just a few days ago, also misses out.
