The Welsh forward reclined back in his seat and covered his eyes with his mask

Gareth Bale once again showed his lack of involvement with Real Madrid on Friday. The Welshman isn't even interested when his side are playing -- as seen in the 2-0 when over Alaves when he opted to take a siesta in the stands.

Bale was left on the bench once again for the game, which meant a seat in the stands to maintain social distancing. And the GolTV cameras captured him reclining back and using his mask over his eyes to feign sleeping during the game.

Sleeping, meditating or relaxing, the issue is that we are once again seeing evidence that Bale no longer cares about life at the Santiago Bernabeu and doesn't care at all about how the team does.

Bale has never fully adapted to the team and has always got on with his own thing. Recently, he hasn't even played. Zidane hasn't given him a single minute in the wins against Espanyol, Getafe, Athletic or Alaves. The last time he played was against Mallorca on June 24.

The former Tottenham man has frequently been criticised for his love of golf in the Spanish capital. After helping Wales qualify for Eueo 2020, he even wore a T-shirt saying: 'Wales, Golf, Madrid. In that order.'

Meanwhile, Madrid remain on track for the title. They are four points clear after beating Alaves with just three games to go.
