Belgian newspaper, 'Het Laatste Nieuws', reveal Madrid's offer for the Chelsea pair

Florentino Pérez is in a rush to sign a 'Galactico' following the losses of both Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

At Madrid they realise they won't be able to sign either Kylian Mbappe or Neymar from PSG and have instead turned their focus to Belgium forward Eden Hazard, who finished third at the World Cup in Russia.

Hazard's fine performances at the World Cup have only increased his value on the transfer market and that's why Real Madrid want to sign him as soon as possible to avoid a bidding war with other teams.

In order to do that, as SPORT revealed earlier, Madrid were planning to make a bid to sign both Hazard and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, an offer big enough to convince Roman Abramovich to sell.

A few days ago Real Madrid presented their first offer to Chelsea: €170m for Hazard.

Now, according to Belgian newspaper 'Het Laatste Nieuws', they've increased their offer to €225m as they look to snap up Courtois as well.

Over the last few months, Courtois hasn't tried to hide his desire for a return to Spain in order to be closer to his children. Following the victory over England, the tall stopper said this: "Where Hazard goes, I go too. We can't be separated."

Hazard has always been open about his 'dream' being a move to Real Madrid, although the interest from Barcelona could make him change his mind.
