Real Madrid line up moves for Camavinga & Mbappe in 2021

Both players are in the final two years of their contracts with their clubs

Eduardo Camavinga and Kylian Mbappe are Real Madrid targets but not for this summer, but for the summer of 2021.

The two players have contracts with their respective clubs, Rennes and Paris Saint-Germain, until 2022 and Madrid will move for them when they move into the final 12 months of their deals.

If Rennes and PSG refuse to do business with Los Blancos, they will run the risk of losing them for nothing in 2022.

The coronavirus crisis has reduced the chances of spending big this summer and Madrid are instead working on a long-term strategy to strengthen their team.

Both players have been targetted by French coach Zinedine Zidane, in addition to Paul Pogba, although president Florentino Perez is not keen to play Manchester United's price tag.

Rennes have still not started talks with Camavinga over a new deal, according to L'Equipe. Madrid have not made an offer for the 17-year-old midfielder, either, but he knows first hand the club want him.

The French club don't want to sell this summer as they prepare for Champions League football next season. Later, they will begin talks over a renewal, but know it will be tough with Madrid lurking.

As for Mbappe, he also has two years on his deal and is resisting renewing. PSG have been trying to tie him down for two years but the player has not committed.

Madrid are patiently waiting for time to pass and allowing the player to continue growing in France. Mbappe is keen to play for Madrid one day.

PSG don't negotiate but if they don't convince him to renew they will have a serious problem next year. In addition, Madrid will offer Mbappe a 100 million euro signing bonus if he comes for free in 2022, according to  ‘El Chiringuito’.
