Real Madrid are looking to bring in over €300m from player sales

La tensa explicación de Zidane sobre Bale / | Perform

The club has put valuations on Bale and Isco (80 million), James (42), Ceballos (35), Mariano (30), Raul de Tomas and Lucas Vázquez (25) and Keylor Navas (10)

Real Madrid's squad overhaul for next season is well and truly underway. They've brought in Hazard, Jovic, Militao, Mendy and Rodrygo at a cost of over €300m. The club is hoping to offset that investment by moving on all the first team players that Zidane doesn't want to work with.

Marcos Llorente started the movement going the other way when he joined rivals Atletico Madrid for €40m. Eventually, Madrid want to offload Bale, Ceballos, James, Mariano, De Tomás, Lucas Vázquez and Keylor Navas to even up the books. It seems a tough task to complete so many transfers in one window but that's what they are going to try and do.

THOSE WITH NO FUTURE AT MADRID

In theory Gareth Bale would represent the biggest income for the club. His poor season and prohibative wages reduce his options but Madrid are confident he still has value in England. They want €80m for the Welsh winger and hope the chance of regular football and a return 'home' would be enough to change his conflictive stance. His agent, Jonathan Barnett, said: "It'd be easier for me to win at Ascot than for him (Bale) to leave on loan."

James Rodriguez and Dani Ceballos are two more names waiting in the departures lounge at Real Madrid. The club is hopeful that Ceballos' performances for the U21 side could see him fetch more than €35m this summer whereas the Colombian knows Zidane doesn't want him. James spent the last two seasons on loan with Bayern and Madrid value him at just under €50m.

De Tomás, Mariano, Keylor Navas and Lucas Vázquez are lower profile sales but combined could fetch just under €100m. De Tomas is expected to join Benfica in a €20m deal and Mariano, who arrived from Lyon just last summer, is available for around €30m.

Keylor Navas and Lucas Vazquez are a little more complicated to get done. The Costa Rican international has a host of clubs after him but none want to pay the €10m Madrid are asking for. Vazquez is someone Zidane likes but following the new arrivals, is no longer needed. They want €30m for him.

All these funds would allow Madrid to add Paul Pogba to their new-look squad.
