The Spanish champions were snubbed by their main target so are looking elsewhere

At Real Madrid they are recovering from the incredible rejection from Kylian Mbappe. With over 200 million euros and a big salary margin, Florentino Perez will go to the market to find a new option.

The Madrid squad has three players leaving in Bale, Isco and Marcelo, while Antonio Rudiger is coming in. They want to add a midfielder and a forward, the latter to accompany Benzema and Vinicius up front.

The objective in midfield is Aurelien Tchouameni, whom they have made contact with Monaco for. RMC say that Liverpool are also firmly in the fight, with both clubs having an agreement with the player. His price, 80 million euros is a lot for a 22-year-old. Madrid won’t go crazy.

In attack there are various names, including Leipziug’s Christopher Nkunku. The German club want 100 million euros for him. Lewandowski is not out of the question and they are also monitoring Endrick.

Darwin Nunez has been a revelation at Benfica, scoring 34 goals in 41 games, but they too want over 100m for him. Leao at Milan has 14 goals and 11 assists. His market value is 50m, but with Madrid obviously having cash at hand, they will want more.
