Real Madrid also target in-demand striker Luka Jovic
Los Blancos are looking to strengthen their front line in the summer
Luka Jovic has been linked with FC Barcelona in recent weeks, even since they have signed Kevin Prince Boateng. The reason being that in contrast to the ex-Ghana international, the Serbian would be signing with one eye on the future. At 21, he's having a great season at Frankfurt, where he's on loan from Benfica.
But his 18 goals in 25 games have not gone unnoticed by Real Madrid, either. According to Diario AS, Los Blancos are also keen on Jovic. They are looking to strengthen their attack for next season and he could be the chosen one.
Madrid's interest in Jovic is so serious, the report claims, that they ahve given up on the idea of signing a more well known No.9, like Harry Kane, Lewandowski or Cavani and will instead bet on youth. Despite the fact he's only on loan at Frankfurt, it's a given that the German club will take up their 12 million euro option to buy. Seeing his performances, it will be a good investment.
As well as Barça and Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also following one of Europe's hottest striker at the moment.
