Real Madrid 'activate Plan B for Raheem Sterling' after Mbappe snub

Real Madrid assume they will not have Kylian Mbappe at least until June 2025. While they are digesting his ‘betrayal’, they are looking at other names in the attack. Raheem Sterling is the first, per the Daily Star, who could come for around 50 million pounds.
The City forward has a year left on his deal and it seems he will not be offered a renewal. The player is no longer an indisputable starter and would not mind a move to a Spanish giant.
Sterling set up a goal for Gundogan in their comeback against Villa to win the title last weekend and has 17 goals and 8 assists this season. Erling Haaland’s arrival next season makes game time even more difficult.
In an interview with AS in 2020, the Englishman said: “Madrid is a fantastic club. When you see the white shirt you know exactly what it represents, it’s enormous. I am a player always open to challenges.”
