Real Madrid are looking on the market for centre-backs with Sergio Ramos potentially leaving at the end of the season. David Alaba is one of the favourites, but his high wage demands complicate the situation.
PSG, who have also shown interest in Ramos, are willing to pay the Bayern Munich defender what he wants. Kicker say that is 20m euros as a signing on fee and 20m euros as an annual salary. Madrid will not be able to reach those numbers.
Chelsea are also paying close attention to the situation, having flexed their financial muscle last summer with 220m euros worth of investments.
