Paris Saint-Germain irritating Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain are resisting Real Madrid's advances for Kylian Mbappe. For two years they have failed to renew his contract, which expires in 2022, and know Madrid are behind these negatives. Los Blancos have tried to be as respectful as possible to PSG, avoiding controversy, but without diverting from their goal. They publicly rejected the idea they tried to tempt Mbappe but it is known they have kept in contact with him ever since he left Monaco.

Madrid want him to sign for them when his deal is up in Paris - or before if PSG sell. They have put a 180m euro price tag on him - or would take some players in exchange. And not just any players.

One of the objectives of Leonardo is Vinicius Junior. A forward who would help fill the gap left by Mbappe. But Madrid say he is untransferrable. Now they ask for Courtois, who would end up being Keylor Navas's nightmare again of Madrid accept, but they don't want to sell their top stopper either.

The next target is Madrid captain Sergio Ramos, who is out of contract at the end of the season. That would be a big blow for Zidane, to lose the Spaniard, his right hand man on the pitch and in the dressing room. Ramos is interested - but could use PSG to get a better renewal at Madrid, like he did with Manchester United.
