Marcos Motta says reports in the Madrid press are not true

Madrid chief Florentino Perez is desperate to sign the PSG star

Neymar's Paris Saint-Germain contract does not include a release clause which would allow Real Madrid to move for the Brazilian, in contrast to what had been reported by some Madrid media.

According to Marcos Motta, one of the player's lawyers, in an interview with Radio Globo, "I can guarantee that there's no release clause in Neymar's contract, nor anything about objectives or ending the season as the top goalscorer."

Motta's comments confirm that Madrid president Florentino Perez doesn't have a good chance of completing his dream of seeing Neymar play in white at the Santiago Bernabeu.

PSG have always maintained that Neymar is a key part of their project and that they have no intention of opening the door to a departure.

NO ALTERNATIVES

Perez's only chance would be to try and convince PSG to accept some sort of swap deal between Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo, although that seems unlikely.

Meanwhile, Motta also confirmed that Neymar had decided to leave Barcelona for Paris a while before the player admitted as much.

Motta added: "Neymar's father sent me a message in the middle of July to tell me to go to the United States immediately to ready the contracts."
