Nacho suffers thigh injury, out for a few weeks
The Real Madrid defender will likely return after the international break in November
Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez will miss several matches after his thigh injury from the Clasico was confirmed.
The defender, who was playing at right back because of injuries to Dani Carvajal and Alvaro Odriozola, went off after 42 minutes. Right winger Lucas Vazquez took his place and will presumably fill in, while left back Ferland Mendy also played out of position there.
Nacho is not likely to return until November, after the next international break.
Vazquez did well in Madrid’s 3-1 Clasico win and is likely to keep the spot to face Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League on Tuesday.
