The Belgian came on as a substitute to help turn the game around in Germany

Real Madrid's comeback draw in Germany was complemented by more good news: the return of club-record signing Eden Hazard from injury.

Hazard had not played yet this season but came on as a second-half substitute to help Madrid come 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Borussia Monchengladbach.

"It's a draw that feels like a win," Hazard said. "We showed great character. We were losing 2-0 and in the final minutes we could even have scored another goal. I could have scored, but I missed. It's not three points, but it feels like a win."

Madrid's goals came from Karim Benzema and Casemiro, who was also the supplier for Benzema's goal.

On his return to action, Hazard said: "I am here to play football. After several weeks without playing, I am really happy. The only thing I want is to play."
