Luka Jovic: I ask forgiveness to everyone if I put anyone in danger
The Serbian striker was criticised even by his government
Luka Jovic thought that he had done nothing wrong. Real Madrid's Serbian forward is in the eye of the hurricane after he travelled to Belgrade and then was seen out.
"I ask forgiveness from everyone if in some way I have done damage or put anyone in danger, I hope that together we can get through this. All my support Serbia, we will come out of this together," he said.
The player, who is having a bad season, said he travelled "with the permission of the club after being tested negatively for coronavirus".
"Considering the situation in the world and in our country is very difficult, more than ever, I have to express myself and sent support to everyone. First, it makes me sad to see that I am the main topic these days and that they are constantly writing about me and not about those who are the protagonists in the fight against the crisis, which are the medics and all those who work in health."
