Luka Jovic could help in Madrid move for Erling Haaland

Los Blancos need a reliable goalscorer and the Dortmund man is an option

Real Madrid want to make bank next summer with Luka Jovic, whom they paid 60 million for in 2019. They are hoping to use the money to sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland. Entrant Frankfurt would like to sign the Serbian back permanently, per Serbian newspaper Republika. The idea would be to finance that deal by selling Andre Silva to Atletico Madrid, who are interested.

Jovic has not convinced in the slightest in Spain, with just two goals. He did not adapt and was involved in off the field controversies too.

His contract with Madrid runs until 2025 and he has a ridiculous 750 million euro release clause. Madrid are hoping to get 50m euros back for him,

Eintracht think they can get 30-40m for Andre Silva.

The problem comes in with Dortmund wanting over 100m euros for Haaland.

Madrid are desperate for a reliable goalscorer, which they have lacked since Cristiano Ronaldo left for Juve in 2018. The Norwegian and Kylian Mbappe are their main hopes.
