The bad news has been confirmed for Real Madrid. After tests, Lucas Vazquez has been diagnosed with a sprain in his left knee’s cruciate ligament. That will keep him out for the rest of the season.
The Galician footballer suffered the injury in a clash with Sergio Busquets in Madrid’s 2-1 Clasico win.
Lucas, barring a surprise recovery, will not be available as Madrid fight for the Champions League and La Liga.
Zinedine Zidane has a problem now. Vazquez has been crucial this season Dani Carvajal is out and Alvaro Odriozola has been in really poor form. Now he needs to find a solution to his right hand side.
