Liverpool star Mo Salah snubbed Real Madrid

The offers was good but Mo rejected Los Blancos, claims Egypt's coach

Hany Ramzy, Hector Cuper's assistant with Egypt, spoke to OnTime Sports about Mo Salah. The Egyptian winger, he says, turned down an offer from Real Madrid before the Champions League final in 2018 - between his Liverpool and Los Blancos.

"When I worked with Hector Cuper we had a training camp in Switzerland in March 2018. I was talking to Salah and he told me Real Madrid had sent him an offer," said Ramzy. "The offer was really good but Salah discussed it with me and Mr Cuper and decided to stay at Liverpool because he was comfortable there."

A few weeks later Salah faced Madrid in the final but was injured by Sergio Ramos and Liverpool lost.

Salah could have been Cristiano Ronaldo's replacement.
