He wanted him as soon as January but PSG were not open to a deal. The move was on course but after being paired with Madrid in the Champions League the situation has changed. The French forward’s people insist he has signed nothing and the door is still open for staying at PSG or even moving to Liverpool, who want him. The player is a bit frustrated with how Madrid’s project looks and he doesn’t want to take a step backwards.
Mbappe likes Real Madrid but he can see they are inferior to PSG after the first leg of their Champions League game. He is frustrated with their game and wants to reflect on his options. PSG will make him a huge new offer and it seems the game is more open than Florentino Perez wants.
Liverpool’s project is interesting for Mbappe. If the striker does not go to Madrid, there could be an earthquake in the market this summer.
