Jude Bellingham could become Real Madrid's biggest signing
The midfielder could move to the Bernabeu at the end of the season
Borussia Dortmund are preparing to make another fortune in the transfer market. In the same way that they have done in other years with the sale of players like Dembélé (120), Sancho (90), Pulisic (64), Aubameyang (64) and Haaland (60), now it's Jude Bellingham's turn, the 19-year-old English midfielder wanted by Real Madrid.
The German club's board has an excellent relationship with Mark Bellingham, the player's father and agent, and a meeting in the near future has already been called to establish the conditions for his son's departure.
The team must travel to Marbella on Jan. 6 to carry out a one-week winter training session and a meeting has already been scheduled with Mark Bennett, who advises the father, Hans Joaquim Watzke and Sebastian Kehl, CEO and sports director respectively of Borussia and, of course, Jude Bellingham and her father Mark.
The reason is to certify Jude's desire to leave the Bundesliga at the end of this season and agree on the exit conditions. In the same way that they did previously with Mino Raiola with Haaland. Neither the Norwegian nor the Englishman had or have a termination clause, but both know in advance the offer that they must bring to the table to leave.
Dortmund, who signed Bellingham in 2020 for 25 million euros, want a transfer under the following conditions: A fixed amount of 100 million euros plus 40 million in variables based on incentives.
This would imply similar conditions to those in Dembélé's move to Barcelona and, evidently, Bellingham would become one of the most expensive signings in the history of football and the largest for Real Madrid if all add-ons are met because Hazard cost 115 and Bale 100.
