The midfielder will remain in Madrid as he's about to become a father for the second time

Isco Alarcón won't fly out with the rest of the Real Madrid squad to Canada today. The midfielder has been given special permission from Zinedine Zidane to remain in the Spanish capital. Isco's partner, Sara Salamo, is about to give birth to Isco's second child.

Isco did return to Valdebebas yesterday to undergo physical and medical tests.

Zidane will allow Isco to stay in Spain until the birth of his child.

Other absentees include Valverde, Militao and Casemiro who are still on holiday after appearing in the Copa America. Jesus Vallejo and Dani Ceballos, who won the U21 Euros with Spain, are also still recovering from their summer exploits.

Gareth Bale will travel despite not being part of Zidane's plans for next season. Luka Jovic is there too after cutting short his own summer break.

Isco's own future remains up in the air. Zidane needs to reduce the numbers in his squad from 29 to 23. He also wants to add at least Paul Pogba before the window closes. However, it's hard to see Isco making a move so soon after becoming a father for a second time.
