Griezmann's message to Sergio Ramos after UEFA Super Cup victory
Following Atletico's victory last night, the French forward shared an interesting image on Instagram involving the Real Madrid captain
The UEFA Super Cup was the second official trophy available this season after the Spanish Super Cup. Many expected Real Madrid to match Barcelona and pick up their first piece of silverware but it was their city neighbours Atletico who emerged victorious.
As is commonplace, the winning players celebrated their victory with posts on social media. The majority were the typical ones with players posing alongside the trophy or funny videos, as was the case of Lucas Hernandez, who led the celebrations.
Yet speaking of kings, one of the most intriguing posts came from Antoine Griezmann and his 'story' on Instagram. The French striker shared a cartoon photo of a changing of the throne - in Europe, at least. In the image Griezmann was sat on the throne and it was Sergio Ramos putting the crown on his head.
