Gregory Dupont appointed as Real Madrid's new fitness coach
He takes the place of Antonio Pintus, who has left for Inter Milan
Real Madrid have confirmed the appointment of a new fitness coach on Zinedine Zidane's staff following the loss of Antonio Pintus to Inter Milan.
Gregory Dupont, 46, has been confirmed as Pintus' replacement and will join up with Los Blancos for preseason.
Madrid confirmed the news via a statement: "Real Madrid C. F. wishes to announce Grégory Dupont has joined the club's coaching staff as head of fitness for the football first team.
"Dupont takes over from Antonio Pintus, to whom Real Madrid are extremely grateful for his exemplary work and commitment during his many seasons at the club and we wish him the best of luck in his new position with FC Internazionale Milano."
Until now, Dupont had been working with the French national team. He previously worked for Lille and Scottish side Celtic.
It's another person of confidence for coach Zidane in his backroom team.
