Gareth Bale's agent fires back: "Zidane is a disgrace"
Jonathan Barnett has come out in defence of his client following Zidane's latest comments on Bale's situation
It didn't take long for Gareth Bale's talkative agent to respond to Zinedine Zidane's latest comments on Gareth Bale's situation at Real Madrid.
Jonathan Barnett told ESPN: "If and when Gareth goes it will be because it is in the best interest of Gareth and nothing to do with Zidane pushing." In further comments to 'AS' the agent added: "He's still one of the best players in the world, one of the top five, and his future will continue at a great club."
There was no mention of which club Bale might continue his career at but Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich have been the most recent linked with a move for the Welsh forward.
However Zidane's comments, coupled by Barnett's response, are hardly going to help matters for the player at Madrid. "Zidane is a disgrace to speak like that about someone who has done so much for Real."
