The Welshman's reticence to go to the far East could hold back Zidane's side

Gareth Bale's future is not written yet. Even though Zinedine Zidane is trying to push Bale out of Real Madrid and his agent sees him moving to the Chinese Super League, per El Larguero on Cadena SER, he doesn't want to play in China.

Barnett revealed there are two important offers from China on the table, Beijing Sinobo Guoan and Jiangsu Suning want Bale but the forward is not as enthusiastic about playing there, in an uninteresting league in a sporting sense.

Bale's reticence could hold back Real Madrid, who want to reinvest the money from his potential sale. "If Bale goes tomorrow, it would be better for everyone," said Zidane.

For now Bale's stance clashes with that of his agent. In China he could continue to get around 20m net per season, which no European side is offering.

The Chinese market closes on July 31, so Barnett doesn't have all that long to convince the player.
