Jorge Jesus, who recently guided Flamengo to Libertadores glory, has complained about how the Brazilian club do business in the transfer market

After winning the Copa Libertadores with Flamengo, Jorge Jesus has expressed his disappointment with the news that Reinier is going to join Real Madrid. The coach criticised the club's owners for accepting just €30m for one of Brazil's brightest talents.

"You can't sell Reinier for 30 million euros. Flamengo still don't know how to value their players," the Portuguese coach told CMTV.

"There are three players at Flamengo: one is 17, another 18 and the last 19. They have started some matches for the club. The youngest is sold to one of the biggest teams in Europe for a few million euros," Jesus admitted a few days ago, without mentioning specific names.

At the beginning of 2019, Reinier signed a new deal with Flamengo until 2024. However, it also saw his release clause drop from €70M to €35M. And now it appears Madrid will take him for even less than that.
