The Madrid man supposedly paid 375.000 for the victim's silence

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been accused of sexual assault, with the alleged incident said to have occurred in the US city of Las Vegas in 2009, according to information released by Der Spiegel and Football Leaks.

The German publication, which claims to know the identity of the victim, also reveals that after the alleged assault a mediation was signed by the Portuguese international’s lawyer  to try to cover up the case in January 2010.

According to the same report, “the woman would keep her silence regarding events which happened on Jun. 12, 2009, in a luxury hotel in Las Vegas. 

The agreement was signed, once again according to the reports, after reaching “an extrajudicial agreement six months later, in concrete on Jan. 12, 2010.” 

Ronaldo is said to have paid the victim a total of 375,000 dollars in exchange for here silence and the mediator was even named, the Portuguese lawyer Carlos Osorio de Castro, who is responsible for the Madrid man’s legal matters.
