Cristiano Ronaldo's demands to renew his Real Madrid deal
If it is not accepted he is open to leaving the club in the summer - with Manchester United in mind.
Cristiano Ronaldo has presented Real Madrid with his contract renewal demands. The Portuguese forward wants the same as Leo Messi is earning to stay at Real Madrid, believing he deserves it. He has told his team to prepare a proposal to present to Madrid's board. If it is not accepted he is open to leaving the club in the summer - with Manchester United in mind.
According to El Mundo, Ronaldo believe its "a lack of respect" to him that he's only paid 21m euros. He wants 40m euros as he believes he is the best player in the world.
Ronaldo remembers that at the end of last season, when Madrid won the Champions League, president Florentino Perez promised him a contract improvement. A promise not fulfilled. Ronaldo cannot bear it any longer.
