Cristiano Ronaldo will not play for Real Madrid again, even though they want a striker and he’s without a club after leaving Manchester United.
Florentino Perez doesn’t see having Cristiano back in the dressing room as a good idea and they are looking for a longer-term option.
The Portuguese forward is looking for a new team and given what Madrid are hoping to find, a potential return could have been an option.
Ronaldo was willing to come back but Perez doesn’t like signing former players or older players and Ronaldo is 37.
He has been linked to Chelsea, Napoli and Sporting Lisbon too, but Real Madrid is off the table.
