Cristiano Ronaldo knows all about what Karim Benzema can bring to a side after playing together for years at Real Madrid. The Portuguese striker registered his highest-scoring seasons alongside Benzema and has let Juventus know they should do everything possible to bring him to Turin. Real Madrid's summer appears to be focused on raising funds to make a move for Kylian Mbappe in 2021 and cashing in on Benzema would help with that.
According to journalist Tancredi Palmeri, Juve have already spoken to Florentino Perez about the French striker's availability. In order to keep the price down, they would be willing to add either Douglas Costa or Alex Sandro into the deal. However, it's hard to see Real Madrid accepting any type of move for Benzema right now. Zidane values him highly and with his other forwards struggling to find the back of the net, it doesn't make sense to let your top scorer leave.
It remains to be seen whether Juventus prefer a new offer to try and tempt Madrid back to the negotiating table. Andrea Pirlo knows he needs to overhaul his squad but adding the experience of someone like Benzema, if possible, would be too good to turn down.
