The Portugal forward praised the Juve players for being humble and a family

Cristiano Ronaldo has taken shots at Real Madrid by claiming that the group of players at Juventus is the best he has ever played with

The Portugal forward quit Madrid for Juve in the summer and has been speaking about hit new life in Italy in an interview with La Gazzetta Dello Sport and Corriere Dello Sport.

Asked about how he's adapted to Turin and the Old Lady, he took advantage of the moment to compare his surroundings with Madrid.

"It's not fair to only mention some names, but I can say that this is the best group I have played with," Ronaldo said.

"Here, we are a team. In other places, some [players] feel bigger than the rest, but here everyone's on the same page, humble and wanting to win.

"If Dybala or Mandzukic don't score, they're still happy, smiling. For me, that's beautiful. I notice the difference. Even though they're humble at Madrid, here I feel like they're more humble. It's different to Madrid, this is more of a family."

On a possible meeting with his ex-team in the Champions League, Ronaldo added: "For me, it's the same. The past is the past. Now I want to win for Juventus. I have to defend these colours. The rest doesn't count. If I play against Madrid, I will try to give my best."

Finally, he was asked about the Juve being linked with James, Bale and Asensio, an idea he didn't seem keen on, but he was more welcoming to the idea of signing Marcelo.

"I see James, Bale, Asensio written about, but, being honest, Juve don't need other players," he said. "You have to speak with the president. In the future, I don't know. Marcelo is strong, we open the door to good players and he's one of them."
