Cristiano Ronaldo has cancelled his visit to Valdebebas to say goodbye to his Real Madrid teammates in person

Juventus' new signing Cristiano Ronaldo is doing everything in his power to avoid crossing paths with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez. Turin's new hero won't face Real Madrid on their US tour but he's now cancelled a trip to Madrid's training ground to say goodbye to his former teammates. This is all to avoid Perez, the man who he fell out with and as such caused his exit from the club.

This is according to Italian newspaper 'Il Corriere dello Sport'. They claim Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't want to face Real Madrid on Juventus' US tour and for that reason will remain in Italy instead. He's also cancelled a planned visit to the Ciudad Deportiva de Valdebebas, where he was set to meet his former teammates ahead of beginning the season with Juventus. Cristiano blames his exit from the club on Perez and wants to avoid him at all costs.

It's worth remembering that Cristiano has already said his byes to the Real Madrid fans in an open letter and didn't receive a farewell ceremony despite all that he achieved at the club. At the moment, Cristiano has resolved his problems with the Spanish tax office and will wait until later on to say his goodbyes to his now ex-teammates.
