Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro do not travel to Barcelona
The Brazilian midfielder has stomach problems and will not face Espanyol
Zinedine Zidane has published his squad list of players to face Espanyol. The Real Madrid coach left Cristiano Ronaldo behind along with Casemiro. The Portuguese forward was a planned absence, with Zidane wanting to give his star man a rest.
Casemiro was not taken because of a stomach problem. The Brazilian could not travel and has been replaced by Madrid Castilla player Oscar.
Marcelo, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Vallejo are out injured for the game.
The squad list:
- Goalkeepers: Navas, Casilla y Luca.
- Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Theo, Achraf.
- Midfielders: Óscar, Marcos Llorente, Asensio, Isco, Ceballos.
- Strikers: Benzema, Bale, Lucas Vázquez, Mayoral.
