Bale is dropped from Real Madrid's squad to face Manchester City
The Welshman, who's spent more time playing in the stands than on the pitch recently, isn't needed by Zidane
Despite the fact he's suspended for the match, Sergio Ramos will travel with his Real Madrid teammates for the match against Manchester City in the Champions League.
Los Blancos are 2-1 down after losing the home leg before the coronavirus outbreak so will need to go on the attack in Manchester. However, Zinedine Zidane has decided he doesn't need Gareth Bale for the contest. The Welshman is dropped from the squad entirely alongside James Rodriguez and Mariano Diaz.
Eden Hazard, who isn't fully fit yet, is named in the travelling party. Hazard is desperate to impress on his return to England and help Madrid turn around the tie.
