An intense game saw VAR used a lot but Madrid won to move within five points on Barcelona
Real Madrid pulled within five points of Barcelona as they beat Atletico Madrid 3-1 in a derby clash at the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday.

Then Gareth Bale, on as a substitute, scored his 100th Real Madrid goal with a low finish.
Atletico ended the game with 10 men after Thomas Partey was dismissed of a second yellow card.
Alvaro Morata, on loan at Atletico from Chelsea, scored a sensational lob but it was ruled out for a fractional offside, one of many controversies on an afternoon where VAR was called on a lot.
"Winning the league motivates us, it's a really balanced competition and we have to keep fighting for it and making life difficult for Barcelona,” said Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos.
