Alarm at Real Madrid with Eden Hazard missing key games

The Belgian winger could be out for another two months with a new ankle fracture

Real Madrid have suffered a new blow after their 1-0 defeat by Levante. Eden Hazard limped off injured and their worst fears have come true. The Belgian winger has sustained a new ankle fracture, having just made it back from three months out with the last one.

Not only will he miss the Champions League game against Man City on Wednesday and the Clasico on Sunday, but quite possibly the next two months - most of the season, making his first campaign since joining from Chelsea a disaster. Madrid did not specify an absence period in their medical statement on Sunday.
