Gareth Bale will not join Bayern Munich on loan next season, according to comments made by his agent Jonathan Barnett to ESPN.
Reports claimed the Welsh forward, who is not in Zinedine Zidane's plans at Real Madrid, is set to join the German champions this summer.
But Barnett said that is "a lie" and added: "Bayern Munich have not made any approach to bring Bale in on loan."
Bale is one of Madrid's main problems at the moment. With a huge contract, it's not easy to find an exit, not least because Los Blancos are also asking for a big transfer fee.
One of the possibilities touted was a loan move to Germany, as previously happened with James Rodriguez, but it doesn't look like that will be the solution at the moment.
