The Brazilian's told his friends and family he wants out

Real Madrid are ready to make a huge effort to sign him

No sooner had Paris Saint-Germain been knocked out of the Champions League last week had Neymar gone to his father to announce that he didn't want to wear the French club's shirt again and ask him to negotiate his signing for Real Madrid next season however possible.

According to ABC, the Brazil international has taken the decision to never play for PSG again. "I won't go back to PSG, [the decision] is irreversible," he's said to his family and friends. Neymar Sr. has the job of using these three months while his son is injured to negotiate with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez. It won't be easy.

Neymar is even ready to take an immediate hit on his salary to push the deal through. The former Barcelona player feels poorly treated by the supporters, has not connected with a large part of the squad and has realised he made a mistake last summer. "If I come here, a league without tradition, and they whistle me, I don't want to continue for one minute more," Neymar said to his family.

Madrid are ready to meet the Brazilian's demands and would reportedly pay 250 million euros, maybe even 300 million euros to complete the transfer. Perez may even try and include a player in any potential deal, such as Gareth Bale or Karim Benzema.
