Rayo v Albacete suspended after 'fucking Nazi' chants at Zozulia
The fans do not like the Ukrainian forward's alleged history and made that clear
Rayo Vallecano’s clash with Albacete at Vallecas has been suspended after chants from the home fans against Roman Zozulia.
Rayo fans sang “Roman Zozulya, fucking Nazi,” at the Ukrainian player, who was forced out of Rayo because of his alleged neo-Nazi past.
Fans were asked by the PA to desist the chant but refused to and Albacete refused to play in the second half because of it.
The game was therefore suspended.
Zozulya signed for Rayo on loan in January 2017 but a few days later was sent back home after the fans turned on him, accusing him of Nazi affiliation.
