PSG statement on improving Kylian Mbappe situation

| sport

It's official. Kylian Mbappe is back in the Paris Saint-Germain first team after being left out of the Parisian side's tour of Asia this summer.

After it was confirmed this morning that both PSG and Mbappe had come to an agreement, the Parisian side confirmed it with a post on their social networks in which the French star was seen back in training with Luis Enrique's side.

Here is what the PSG statement said:

"Following very constructive and positive discussions between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappé before the PSG-Lorient match on Saturday 12 August, the player was reinstated in the first training squad this morning."

The next step, as confirmed by the French press, is a meeting between the two parties to negotiate a possible extension of his contract until 2025 and thus avoid Mbappe leaving without leaving money in the Parisian coffers next summer from Madrid.
