There were protests at the French club's HQ on Wednesday

Bad times for PSG. In the midst of a sporting crisis and after it was confirmed that Leo Messi will not remain at the club next season due to the lack of a clear sporting project, they have been forced to issue a statement to condemn the actions of their fans whose protests have got out of hand.

Some ultras have been insulting the board and some players, including Messi, and have even appeared in front of Neymar's house to insult him and ask him to leave. The club's reaction to these actions is as follows.

PSG STATEMENT

"Paris Saint-Germain most strongly condemns the intolerable and insulting actions of a small group of individuals that took place on Wednesday.

"Whatever the differences of opinion, nothing justifies such actions. The Club gives its full support to its players, its staff and all those targetted by such shameful behaviour."

Hours earlier some fans had gathered in front of the club's headquarters to read a statement in which they claim "to be deeply concerned about the future of the club" among which they ask for explanations regarding the management, the future of the Parc des Princes, the squad, about whom they ask for the dismissal of the 'parasite players' and the continuity and strong commitment to young talent.
