Neymar takes Paris Saint-Germain penalty ahead of Leo Messi & Mbappe
The Brazilian won and converted a spot kick in the 2-1 win against Lyon on Sunday
Neymar, Lionel Messi or Kylian Mbappe? Who will take penalties for Paris Saint-Germain this season?
The trio started together for the first time in the 1-1 draw at Club Brugge in midweek and PSG earned their first penalty with them on the pitch against Lyon on Sunday.
Neymar won the spot-kick and the Brazilian took the responsibility to take it, too, firing past Lopes to make it 1-1 after Paqueta's equaliser.
It remains to be seen if Neymar will continue to take penalties for PSG, or if Mbappe and Messi will get a look in at some point.
Remember that when Lionel Messi was a Barcelona, he regularly took penalties. However, he did occasionally hand duties to Neymar and Luis Suarez when they were all at the club.
PSG went on to beat Lyon 2-1 in Paris. Mauro Icardi's 93rd minute winner ensured they maintained their perfect record in Ligue 1.
