The Brazilian forward has not succeeded in his time in the French capital

Neymar Junior’s era at PSG seems to be coming to an end. The Champions League KO saw him whistled by fans and his performance has been decaying year after year since moving from Barcelona. The club would be happy to let him go in the summer.

At 30, he’s in one of the darkest spells of his career. The Brazilian arrived in 2017 with the aim of leading the project, winning the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or. He wanted to come out from the shadow of Lionel Messi and now he is back in it, and Kylian Mbappe’s too.

He has gone 10 games without scoring in the UCL and scored just five goals in 14 games in Ligue 1 this season. Injury has dogged his spell in France too.

Footmercato says that PSG have offered him to various clubs, including Barcelona. However the Catalans are looking at a striker and what’s more, one with a lot of future ahead of him.
