The arrival of Daley Blind at Ajax could see De Jong leave
According to the BBC, there's an agreement between Manchester United and Ajax for Daley Blind
Manchester United's Daley Blind could be about to return to one of his former clubs, Ajax. According to BBC there's an agreement in place between United and Ajax for £14.1m. This would see Blind, 28, return to the club where he started his career although the bid hasn't been officially confirmed by either party yet.
Blind joined United from Ajax in 2014 for £13.8m when Louis Van Gaal was in charge of the English giants. Since the arrival of Jose Mourinho the centre back, who can also play in midfield, has been used sparingly.
This movement hasn't gone unnoticed at Barcelona. As SPORT revealed, one of the main objectives for next season is the incorporation of Frenkie De Jong to their midfield. Until now, Ajax have refused to even consider letting their young starlet leave this summer.
The arrival of Daley at Ajax could change the Dutch club's stance. The fact both Blind and De Jong can play in midfield is another positive in Barça's favour.
